Testimonials
“I met Firdosi twenty-five years ago when she was an MFA student at UCLA and I was assigned as her mentor. Firdosi is an exceptional writer. Firdosi has ample writing experience to teach, and her life experience elevates her qualification. I am amazed by her ability to persevere, and to do so with dignity, grace, kindness, and intelligence. I know from working in dozens of writers’ rooms and teaching writing workshops, that Firdosi has the personality and temperament to not only instruct but to motivate.”
Matt Goldman, Emmy Award Winning Television Writer (Wizards of Waverly Place) and NYT Best Selling Author
“Thanks to her unique understanding of character development and story dynamics, her wonderful eye for detail, combined with her deeply considerate, empathetic and humanistic approach, Firdosi is your perfect go-to person in the wide world of screenwriting.”
Rüdiger Sturm, movie journalist & writer
“I met Firdosi when she reached out to me to discuss Life Coaching after reading my book; You Don’t Need Anyone’s Permission to Live Your Best Life!
From that initial conversation I became her Life Coach, and through our time together I have discovered Firdosi to be an energetic, focused, positive person with a passion for writing and “righting”. She has an extraordinary talent for creating magic with her use of the English language and has had a successful career in the film industry because of it. As a writer myself, I connected so deeply with her talent and creativity that we are now producing partners for Paradise Seven Pictures.
As well as creating magic with her scripts, she has a passion for teaching others to create a little magic themselves through her tutoring and mentoring…teaching them how to write effectively to communicate their vision and ideas and helping make what they have written, better.”

The Script Righter Credo
Character 101
Have you ever heard a realtor use the phrase: “location, location, location” when it comes to purchasing the perfect property?
Well, I have a similar sentiment when it comes to the art of screenwriting and that’s:
CHARACTER
CHARACTER
CHARACTER!
In order to write and “right” a script that resonates with an audience across time zones, demographics, and languages, it is imperative that the writer embarks on a journey of understanding ALL of his or her characters and their motivation, whether it’s the protagonist (what does he/she/they want, ultimately?)
Or a minor character who only shows up in a handful of scenes (what is their purpose in the story? Why do we need them? How do they impact or impede our protagonist’s purpose?)
Firdosi’s script sale, The Hollywood Reporter
It is my humble belief that once a writer knows the characters they created inside out and intimately, there is space on a blank page for a script to explode with originality, creativity, and a memorable quality.
Don’t believe me? Think I’m peddling a magic elixir for winning an Oscar for Best Screenplay?
I’m not. I want to see you realize an important script on the page and I’m confident I can advise just how to do that effectively.
Considering I’ve worked for and known personally the fortunate few who have taken home the honor of an Oscar, you can trust I know of which I write.
Armed with a MFA from one of the world’s most prestigious film schools (UCLA) I picked up a lot of valuable tools of the trade in my own writing.
Let me help right your writing...one page at a time...
